Indus Travels

"Just 3 weeks ago, we launched the Egypt trip departure March 2026 with Penticton Chamber of Commerce…

✅ The presentation went great — over 25 people attended in person, with more joining online, all excited to learn about this dream destination.

Egypt has always been on everyone’s bucket list — from the mystery of the pyramids to the magic of experiencing the Nile River cruise and all the other authentic pieces of the valleys, it’s a place people want to see at least once.

🔥 And yes — the trip SOLD OUT right away."

If your chamber has not done a trip to Egypt (or anywhere else), give us a call — we’re here to help you plan the next adventure.

Is your chamber still relevant?

Let’s be honest. Chamber work is harder than ever. The mixers, the emails, the hustle... and still, members are wondering: What’s the chamber really doing for me? That’s where advocacy comes in. But most chamber leaders weren’t hired to do policy work and don't come in with that skillset. The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone. We’ve built a step-by-step framework to help chambers launch and lead effective advocacy efforts with confidence. Because when you’re shaping policy instead of just planning events, your community notices. Your chamber can be more than relevant. It can be irreplaceable. Click here to schedule a brief call and we can discuss your chamber's needs.

The Chamber is excited to announce that our She Means Business event is back and just around the corner! This power event celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of women in public service. Our 2025 keynote speaker is none other than Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford! Elected in 2020, Naida Rutherford made history as the first woman, first medical professional, and first African American to serve as Coroner in the 173-year history of Richland County. Myrtle Beach Area Chamber

As we mourn the passing of our dear friend, mentor and cherished Chamber Crew colleague Sandy Haines, let us celebrate the brilliance she brought into our lives. Sandy dedicated nearly 34 years to the Chamber and Visit Myrtle Beach. Her charismatic charm and vibrant personality allowed her to form meaningful relationships both locally and across North America. She traveled far and wide to promote the Grand Strand, always showcasing the true spirit of The Beach through her genuine heart and enthusiasm. Beyond her professional achievements, Sandy's presence brought joy, warmth and levity to our workplace. Her infectious laughter, memorable "Southernisms," and playful pranks created an environment filled with camaraderie and lightheartedness. Her salt-of-the-earth wisdom provided guidance through both personal and professional challenges. Sandy was authentic, unapologetically herself, and a true gem whose presence enriched everyone she met. Sandy will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain a part of our community. Let us continue to be inspired by her legacy of dedication, humor and vivacious spunk.

The Chamber and Visit Myrtle Beach are proud to announce an updated leadership structure designed to strengthen the organization’s mission to enhance the quality of life for residents across the Grand Strand. MBACC and Visit Myrtle Beach CEO Matt Pivarnik and the Executive Committee of the MBACC Board of Directors have appointed Jimmy Gray and Stuart Butler to Presidents of the Chamber and Visit Myrtle Beach respectively. Gray and Butler will continue to report to Pivarnik and the three will be accountable to the board. Click here to learn more.
