FREE SEMINAR FOR MOBILE FOOD VENDING
INFORMATION and OPPORTUNITIES FOR LICENSING, NETWORKING AND FINANCING

ALLENTOWN, PA - Aug. 6, 2014 - The popularity and prevalence of non-traditional mobile restaurants, such as kiosks, carts, and full-sized trucks are on the rise, serving everything from hot dogs to BBQ to lobster rolls to ethnic cuisine to gourmet desserts.

The Community Action Development Corporation of Allentown (CADCA) is offering a two-part seminar for entrepreneurs who are interested in learning about the potential for a similar market right here in Allentown. The seminar is designed to provide information to individuals interested in running a mobile food business, with presentations by the City of Allentown, the Philadelphia Mobile Food Association, the Rising Tide Community Loan Fund and CADCA. The Rising Tide Community Loan Fund is offering a special financing program specifically for mobile food vendors.

The two-part seminar is scheduled for August 11th and 18th.  Each session will begin at 6:30PM and run until 8:30PM.  The sessions will be held in the basement at the 702 Hamilton Street Building, Allentown.  There is a parking lot available behind the Wells Fargo bank.

The guest speakers include representatives from the City of Allentown, the Philadelphia Mobile Food Association, the Rising Tide Community Loan Fund and CADCA.
