CADDAC asks that everyone affected by ADHD (parents/caregivers, individuals, professionals working in the field of ADHD, educators, community workers, colleagues, friends, and allies) to email their Provincial and Federal members of parliament requesting the following supports as outlined in our Action Plan:


  1. More ADHD resources across Canada for individuals and families
  2. More ADHD training and ongoing support for medical and mental health practitioners
  3. More ADHD training for educators to improve outcomes for students with ADHD

Special Education Advisory Committees: Calls for Membership

Made up of school board trustees and representatives from local associations with an interest in special education, you can represent CADDAC on a SEAC Committee and provide advice and recommendations to the school board. The following school boards have reached out to CADDAC looking for volunteer members. Contact CADDAC for next steps!

Applicants must be a Canadian citizen and:


  • At least 18 yrs old
  • A resident of the board jurisdiction
  • An elector or taxpayer of the board
  • Cannot be an employee of the school board or authority
  • Upper Canada District School Board
  • Simcoe County District School Board
  • Thames Valley District School Board
  • Waterloo Catholic District School Board
