Sheena's Story

Throughout her educational journey, Sheena grappled with this disconnection, as if she were only experiencing half the soundtrack of life. Little did she know, her struggles were rooted in undiagnosed ADHD – a common reality for many.

Peer Facilitators Needed: ADHD Support Groups


CADDAC is urgently looking for volunteer facilitators for our West Coast Parent Support Groups.


In addition, we are also looking for facilitators for our Adult ADHD Support Groups and ADHD and Substance Use Disorder: Peer-Led Support Groups. If you would like to bring your lived experience as an adult with ADHD to support others with similar experiences, and can reliably commit to leading a series of Support Groups from September 2023 to June 2024, this may be a great opportunity for you!

Many families and individuals in Canada struggle to find ADHD resources in their communities. The Bilingual ADHD Resource Navigator/ Administrative Assistant will work with families and individuals affected by ADHD to identify ADHD and mental health resources in their communities.

Coaches needed for our Youth ADHD Group Coaching Program


We are looking for 1 to 2 ADHD Coaches to deliver our Youth ADHD Coaching Program (16yr-24yrs) in 2024. Our program is grounded in Positive Psychology and aims to help youth develop a toolkit of skills and behaviors that will set them up for success! The program is 8 weeks in length, for a total of 8.5 hours of Coaching. The sessions are between 60-90 mins and delivered during the evenings.

Season 3 of The Impulsive Thinker Podcast starting October 2nd!


For ADHD Awareness Month, The Impulsive Thinker is focusing on ADHD and mental health. 


The host, André Brisson, will discuss with mental health experts how co-existing mental health conditions interact with your ADHD. We will discuss depression, anxiety, Substance Use Disorder (SUD), and Bi-Polar Disorder.
