Youth Peer-facilitated Support Groups (Pilot Program)

For teens and young adults aged 16-24


CADDAC is excited to introduce our new Youth ADHD Support Groups Pilot Program this November! All facilitators for the Youth ADHD Support Group Pilot Programs have received training in peer facilitating, and are all young adults with ADHD.


Each meeting will allow participants to share their stories or ADHD strategies with others who understand what it means to be affected by ADHD.

CADDAC is excited to announce that our ADHD Support groups for Adults and Parents will return this September! In addition, we are excited to resume our ADHD and Substance Use Disorder Support Groups, funded with support from Health Canada.

My Story, Her Journey. From Misdiagnosis to Understanding by Anonymous


As a mom raising three boys with ADHD, you’d think I’d have seen the signs. My boys were all diagnosed young, with their ADHD showing up in the more “obvious” ways—hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and the constant need to move. I thought I had a pretty clear picture of what ADHD looked like. But my daughter? Because she didn’t fit the typical ADHD mould, I didn’t recognize what was happening beneath the surface.

Free ADHD Seminar Series

Sep 2024 – May 2025 on Zoom

One Tuesday every month, 5:30 – 7 PM Eastern


ADHD Seminars are a psychoeducation-based group for parents and caregivers of children ages 4 to 12 years old who may be struggling with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The seminars are intended to provide information to parents and caregivers so that they can better understand their children’s needs and support them in a neurodiversity-affirming way.


Each seminar is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Families can choose which seminars they would like to attend.
