CADTP Code of Conduct
The Counselor Code of Conduct provides comprehensive documentation on how to behave in the profession of an SUD Counselor. SUD Counselors, by the very nature of their work, must be held to a high standard of ethics as they work with a vulnerable population. There are three basic principles with extensive descriptions of each including: individual conduct, conduct with others, and conduct relating to licensing and regulations. Virtual Training
Recognizing and Responding to an Overdose with Naloxone for Youth
Thursday, March 24, 2022 • 9:00 am–11:30 am • 2 CEUs • Free

This training is designed for youth providers. It will focus on information about the potential risks of overdose, specifically with opioids. Additionally, the training will explore specific engagement skills for responding to a youth overdose and safely responding to an overdose with naloxone. The techniques used to administer naloxone will be demonstrated and discussed. This educational session is meant as a resource for specialty SUD youth treatment providers to use when working with youth considered at risk of SUDs and for those with SUDs.
CEU and Education Providers
ADCS provides students with the knowledge, skills and clinical experience necessary to receive substance abuse counseling certification from CCAPP and CADTP. Visit the ADCS Website.

Breathe Easy Insurance Solutions, in partnership with CADTP, is sponsoring a scholarship to help pay for certification and exam fees for CADTP registered counselors.

AWARDS
Breathe Easy is funding up to 15 awards of $350 each ($5,250 total) in CADTP credit to help registered counselors gain certification.
