Calling All Newfound Area Residents!
Are you a resident of a Newfound Community?
If so, we want to hear from you!

Please take a moment to fill out a brief survey regarding substance use disorders prevention, treatment, and recovery services in the Newfound region. Your feedback will help the Newfound Drug Response Task Force develop a more comprehensive strategic action plan to identify needs and improve access to substance use disorder services, including opioid and methamphetamines, throughout the region.

If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Maria Sanders
at msanders@cadyinc.org or 603-536-9793.
FREE Parent Handbooks Available!
As parents, we must choose awareness and prevention. Wouldn’t you rather be equipped to recognize the early warning signs of things like anxiety, substance use, social media and screen time before they turn into something more harmful? These are just a few of the topics addressed in Operation Parent's most recent version of their Parent Handbook for Middle and High School Students. This outstanding resource helps educate parents so they can “connect-the-dots” between seemingly harmless issues, like social media use to high-risk behaviors such as substance misuse.

Be proactive and equip yourself with this invaluable tool where you can also find trends, warning signs, misconceptions, tips and advice for the toughest issues you may face during your parenting journey.

FREE Deterra Drug Deactivation Bags Are Available!
The majority of teens abusing prescription drugs get them from family, friends and the home medicine cabinet. Unused prescription medication thrown in the trash can be retrieved and abused or illegally sold. Unused drugs that are flushed down the toilet contaminate the water supply. Proper disposal of unused drugs prevents drug diversion, prevents addiction and saves lives while protecting the environment.

To help address this need, CADY is offering free Deterra Drug Deactivation Bags to the community in order to safely dispose of unwanted, expired or unused medications.

For more information about getting Deterra Bags,
contact Emily Shanahan at eshanahan@cadyinc.org
