NAEA invites members to apply and join the Delegates Assembly Ad Hoc Committee, who will be called upon for the revision of two publications: the Professional Code for Art Educators and the Professional Code of Ethics for State and Province Associations.

The workshop, July 22-25, will offer a variety of modalities, including exhibition tours, lectures, group discussion, and model lessons.

SouthCAP Investigating Drawing — The Art of Seeing

Aligned with connections to the California Visual Arts Standards, this professional learning is appropriate for Single Subject Arts Teachers, Multiple Subject Arts Teachers, and Teachers of all disciplines in which observation is a key competency. Develop your own artistic skills and collaboratively generate classroom applications for the upcoming school year.

We so often have to advocate for the importance of what we do, the resources we need for our classrooms, and for our own professional development.

CAEA is here to help build your advocacy toolbox: and this includes making it as easy as possible for you to request financial support from administrators for membership costs to join your state and national professional organization. Remember: a personal request from educators is always more powerful than a mass email from our organization.
