The next step in the 2020-21 CAEP allocations process is here! The CAEP 2020-21 preliminary allocations have been loaded into NOVA. Consortia are now able to begin the CFAD process. Please note, NOVA will not automatically calculate the member allocations. The 2020-21 preliminary allocations, by member, must be entered into NOVA as part of the CFAD process. The CFAD certification is due May 2, 2020 from all consortia and members.

By now, all CAEP consortia should have reviewed the 2020-21 preliminary allocations and memo . Additionally, the CAEP Fiscal Update webinar took place on Friday, March 6, 2020. If you missed it or need a refresher, you can review the recording and PowerPoint presentation .

In 2018-19, WestEd assisted the Academic Senate and Chancellor’s Office in leading the process for revising the community college CB21 developmental education rubrics to match the NRS Educational Functioning Levels. The results of this effort led to new CB21 rubrics.

In April and May 2020, WestEd will lead regional training and planning events for adult school and college faculty and administrators on the new CB21 competency rubrics. The invitation for collaboration information sheet provides more details regarding the upcoming training cycle and how you can help.
