Quarter 2 Member Expense Report
|

The Quarter 2 member expense report is due on March 1, 2022. The consortium will need to certify by March 31, 2022. For the Quarter 2 member expense report, members will submit any remaining expenses covering active program years for CAEP. Prior to submission, members will review and confirm that all 2019-20 funds have been expended. Please note, any remaining 2019-20 funds will be returned to the State General Fund. If members have a remaining balance of 2019-20 funds, NOVA will generate an invoice with return steps.

CFAD and Governance Documents

The CFAD and governance documents for 2022 are connected to the three-year plan. The CFAD and governance documents are to be submitted and approved in NOVA by all consortium members by May, 2, 2022. The CFAD must be certified in order to submit and approve the three-year plan by June 20, 2022.

The CAEP Office is moving the CAEP Quarter 4 student data submission due date (for TOPSPro users) to July 15,2022. The original due date was August 30th of each year. Each agency will need to plan accordingly.

CAEP Peer Learning Circle for Adult Ed Practitioners in Rural Environments
Want to engage with CAEP adult education practitioners who are situated in a rural environment and experiencing challenges with providing adult education programming and services in their community? Join us for a peer learning circle (PLC) for adult education practitioners who provide programming and services in rural environments. The topic-focused discussions will address questions related to challenges experienced in rural areas. The PLCs will be facilitated by trained adult education practitioners. The intended audience is adult education practitioners who self-identify as being a part of a rural agency and/or consortium.

CAEP 2022-25 Three-Year Plan March Peer Learning Circle
The third monthly three-year plan PLC will take place on Friday, March 18, 2022. The January and February PLCs included a rich discussion about the three-year plan, and the intention is to continue the conversation in March. CAEP consortia leads and members will convene to engage in a robust, facilitated discussion to address questions related to all sections in the three-year plan. The PLCs will be facilitated by CAEP consortium directors. The intended audience is consortium directors and staff who are leading their consortium’s three-year planning process.

2022 CFAD and Governance Certification in NOVA
Join CAEP TAP to walk through the new CAEP governance certification process that is part of the CFAD certification. Find out the various governance questions consortia must answer and certify by May 2, 2022. For those who are new to CAEP, or those who would like a refresher, CAEP TAP will review the CFAD certification process and how to complete an allocation amendment.

EDD: Rural Public Health Workforce Training Network Program – Grant Application Opportunity
|
|
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Health Resources and Services Administration announces the availability of approximately $48 million for the Rural Public Health Workforce Training Network Program (RPHWTN) to expand public health capacity by supporting health care job development, training, and placement in rural and tribal communities. The HHS anticipates awarding 31 grants with a maximum award of approximately $1.5 million for a three-year project period. One of the key elements of the RPHWTN Program is to create stronger linkages between training programs and the health care entities that will ultimately employ these public health professionals.
Applicants must select at least one of the following workforce training tracks and establish a network to implement workforce activities that will directly impact the workforce training track(s):
- Track #1 – Community Health Support
- Track #2 – Health IT and/or Telehealth Technical Support
- Track #3 – Community Para-Medicine
- Track #4 – Case Management Staff and/or Respiratory Therapists
Eligible applicants must be public or private, non-profit or for-profit entities, including faith-based, community-based, tribes and tribal organizations with demonstrated experience serving, or the capacity to serve, rural underserved populations. The closing date for receipt of proposals is March 18, 2022.
