The Quarter 2 student data was due January 31, 2025 in TOPSPro for K-12 CAEP adult education providers and WIOA-funded community college noncredit providers. Additionally, the employment and earnings follow-up survey was due on the same day, January 31, 2025.

Under the general direction of the Executive Director of the Northern Alameda Adult Education Collective, coordinate the implementation of the California Adult Education Program (CAEP). The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the activities that support achievement of CAEP objectives. The incumbent works collaboratively with administrators, faculty/teachers and staff of all Consortium members to support effective project management. | |
CAEP Carryover Compliance: Best Practices | |
This document is designed to assist CAEP Consortia with managing carryover compliance and effective spending strategies. Included are best practices aimed at supporting compliance management and guiding thoughtful spending of CAEP funds, both now and in the future.
We welcome your contributions to continually improve this guide! If your Consortium has developed a process, strategy, bylaw, or other framework that enhances budgeting, spending, or carryover management, we encourage you to share your insights. Your ideas, input, and feedback are invaluable to this collaborative effort. Reach out to us and help shape the future of effective CAEP fund management.

WestEd is excited to announce our regional training series, designed to support consortia in using data to enhance adult education services and inform their three-year planning process. These interactive, in-person sessions will guide participants through creating community personas, identifying service gaps with data tools, and developing actionable strategies to address unmet needs. By the end of the training, each consortium will have concrete insights and strategies to incorporate into their planning efforts.
Trainings are being held in centralized locations across California, ensuring accessibility for all participants. Space is limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot. 2025 CAEAA 28th State Conference | |
The 28th Annual California Adult Education Administrators' Association State Conference will take place February 6-7, 2025, at the Sutter Club in Sacramento. Hear directly from key leaders in adult education, network with other administrators, solve problems together, collaborate on funding efforts, improve learner outcomes, and learn from each other. Consortium Directors' Peer Learning Circle (PLC)
The Consortium Directors' Peer Learning Circles serve as a specialized forum for Consortium Leads, Co-Leads, Managers, and Directors. This platform offers a unique space to engage in discussions on challenges, queries, and distinctive scenarios frequently experienced by Consortium Leads, who often navigate the complexities of both the Community College noncredit system and the K12 system. It provides an invaluable opportunity for leads from across California to exchange ideas, find thought partners, and disseminate strategies and best practices, thereby fostering excellence throughout the state.

The Directors' Corner serves as an online platform designed to promote the exchange of ideas and facilitate access to colleagues throughout the state. Additionally, the Canvas Course is a repository of consolidated resources for Consortium Leads/Directors. This platform aims to foster a robust networking environment, allowing for the seamless sharing of queries, resources, and insights on various scenarios among directors throughout the State.
