CAEP Office Addresses the Statewide Priorities in the CAEP Summit 2021 Publication
In 2020, the CAEP Office introduced the CAEP State Priorities: Equity, Leadership, Learner Transition, Marketing, Program Development, Program Evaluation and Technology and Distance Learning. The statewide priorities are aligned with the CCCCO’s Vision for Success Goals and the CDE Superintendent’s Initiatives and bring the adult education programs to a level where they are meeting the needs of learners in their communities and in job markets. According to Dr. Carolyn Zachry, Education Administrator/State Director for the Adult Education Office within the California Department of Education, “The goal of the priorities is to bring our adult education programs to the level where they’re meeting the needs of all learners in their communities, and meeting the needs of changing job markets in our various regions.”
Learn more about the CAEP State Priorities by reading Dr. Zachry’s story in the CAEP Summit 2021 public.

This Google group is a Professional Learning Community or Community of Practice for adult basic skills educators who are planning to use or using flex modes.
