2020-21 CAEP Preliminary Allocations in NOVA This Month

Last week, the CAEP Office released the 2020-21 preliminary allocations from the Governor’s proposed budget and memo . Later this month, the CAEP Office will load the 20-21 allocations into NOVA. The CFAD certification is not due until May 2, 2020 from all consortia and members. 

English Language Learner (ELL) Pathways to Careers Program
Funding is available to support ELL pathways to careers! The Employment Development Department, in coordination with the California Workforce Development Board and the Labor and Workforce Development Agency, has released a Solicitation for Proposals (SFP) for an ELL Pathways to Careers program. The $1.4 million available for this SFP will be used to support projects that increase access for target populations, aligns WIOA programs, incorporate co-enrollment strategies towards career pathways, and more. Pathways to Credentials Project
Want customized technical assistance to embed stackable, industry-recognized credentials within CTE associate degree programs? Exciting news! A cohort of up to 10 colleges will receive customized virtual and in-person TA from subject matter experts and a dedicated coach who will guide them through needs assessments, goal setting, and local action planning. This support will help colleges advance their efforts in stackable credential design including components such as employer engagement, industry certification alignment, and non-credit/credit integration. Hanover Research Enrollment Challenge
The overall higher education enrollments rates in the United States have declined for the eighth straight year in 2019. In response to this continuous decline, Hanover Research is providing practical tactics that every adult school and noncredit college can use to reverse the impact of falling enrollment.
