Opening Doors: Dual Enrollment for All CAEP Students (Beyond HSD/HSE)


Foothill De Anza/NSCCSTC is expanding college access by opening dual enrollment opportunities to CAEP students across all adult education programs. Through innovative policy changes, strong college-adult school partnerships, targeted outreach, and dedicated transition support, students in ESL, CTE, ASE, and K-12 Success programs can take college courses aligned with their education and career goals. This inclusive approach is helping remove barriers and create smoother pathways from adult education to college. The first edition of the 2026–27 Compendium of Allocations and Resources (the Compendium) is now available!

 

By providing fiscal and program guidance in one central location, the Compendium streamlines access to information and supports college and district leaders in effective, student-centered implementation of fiscal resources. The Compendium features comprehensive details about new and ongoing funding for various programs, such as allocation tables, spending guidelines, reporting requirements, and additional relevant resources.

  

Updated editions of the Compendium will be released through the First Principal Apportionment in May 2027. You can find the Compendium and additional fiscal information on the Chancellor’s Office Budget News page



iHanover Research CAEP Annual Plan and Three-Year Plan Analysis


We invite you to read the Executive Summary of the 2025-28 Three-Year Plan and the 2024-25 Consortium Annual Plan analysis, both prepared by Hanover Research. These analysis examines key themes such as assessments, programs, development areas, and more to inform our upcoming planning.



The CAEP Office has released the CAEP FY 2026-27 Final Allocation Memo and Schedule. You can view these documents on the CAEP Website (Administrators>Funding>Annual CAEP Allocation>26-27) or use the easy-to-access link provided below. Within the memo there is a link to the final allocation schedule.

2026 ELL HEALTHCARE PATHWAYS CONVENING

Pathways with Purpose: Advancing ELL Healthcare Pathways Programs for Impact and Sustainability


Hosted by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and WestEd, this convening will showcase the impact of the work of ELL HP grantees, highlight progress toward addressing care provider shortages by growing a diverse and more culturally competent healthcare workforce, and share actionable practices to advance programs for impact and sustainability.

 

When: Thursday, September 17, 2026

Where: Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport.

Who: ELL HP program leaders, administrators, instructors, counselors, navigators, staff, analysts, and more!

 

Participants will engage with effective strategies, learn from peer experiences, and collaborate on approaches to grow, strengthen, and sustain their programs.
