New Advance IET Series, Integrated Education and Training (IET) Strategies in Action

The U.S. Department of Education's ADVANCE IET project provides training and resources to assist adult educators in developing, strengthening, and scaling IET programs that effectively support adult learner pathways to high-quality careers. The ADVANCE IET project team has just released the second brief in the series, IET Strategies in Action, which aims to highlight promising practices implemented by IET programs to serve diverse student populations in various contexts.

Promising Practices for Integrated Education and Training Programs that Serve Beginning-Level Learners - The second brief in the series discusses how two strategies - bridge programs and stackable credentials - are implemented by local providers to intentionally serve beginning-level learners, and in some cases, how state-level guidance and support can enable these efforts.
