CAEP Student Enrollment Increased 4.4%
|
|
Whether it’s effective student data practices or teacher and student persistence (or both!), CAEP student enrollment is up 4.4% from April 14, 2020 to June 8, 2020. That’s an increase of about 23,000 students from mid-April. Overall, TOPSpro is showing about a 542K unduplicated student enrollment count as we head into the 4
th
quarter. This includes documentation that CAEP is running just under 3,500 distance learning classes. This data supports what we are hearing in the field as adult education agencies have pivoted to meet the challenge of distance education during the pandemic. We hope this momentum, persistence, and innovation will carry CAEP into the fall. Reminder: for those that report in TOPSPro, end of the year student data reporting is due August 1, 2020.

June 23, 2020
1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Despite schools and colleges being closed due to COVID-19, the end of year deadline of August 1st for all CAEP agencies still looms. In this workshop, we will look at the CAEP Data Integrity Report (DIR), review many of the data dive principles we have presented over the past couple of years, and provide some "typical" TE data examples.... and also look at reporting areas that may need a different view given that we are in the COVID-19 era. We will present a few examples of issues that may need to be evaluated differently, and others that should still be the same despite COVID-19.
