Identification of Effective Practices and Subject Matter Experts
|
|
CAEP TAP would like to identify effective practices and subject matter experts in California in two areas: (1) supporting immigrant integration, and (2) facilitating students’ transition from adult school or noncredit classes to adult secondary education, post-secondary education, or employment.
Is your consortium offering programs and services in these areas? Are there individuals in your consortium who would be willing to support peer learning in these areas? High Road Alliance has been contracted by the CAEP-TAP to conduct interviews with interested consortium representatives. If you or someone else in your consortium would like to participate, please contact peter@highroadalliance.org.

CAEP Considerations for Implementing Distance Learning and Recording Outcomes
Tuesday, November 10, 2020
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
With schools and colleges continuing to be closed for in person instruction due to COVID-19, many agencies have taken a “crash course” in distance learning this year. This session provides a CAEP focus on many of these common challenges, such as organizing classes, measuring instructional hours, and administering assessment. This session will provide special focus on recording hours in a community college setting, and how to measure and report hours into TOPSpro Enterprise, given students are learning in a virtual environment.
