Parma Family Martial Arts Center focuses on helping its students grow through traditional martial arts. The school focuses on three main concepts: Discipline, respect and confidence. The school incorporates many different martial arts in its teachings: Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Kumdo and Tai Chi. The school was founded over 30 years ago by Grand Master Weidendorf. He and his partners Ms. Alissa Neczypor, Mr. Jason Dooley and Ms. Kaitlyn Chaj, teach Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido classes four days per week. Tai Chi classes are offered twice a week and are taught by Mr. Clinton Wall and his wife Cherie.
Student ages range from 3 to 70 years old. A typical class will involve learning basic techniques (strikes, joint locks, throws), testing requirements (including self-defense and traditional forms) and may include sparring.
