We have Head Start locations in Carrollton, Franklin, and Newnan. Our Head Start program is free for eligible families and is a great option for working parents with young children! Our program is also open to children with special needs and disabilities.

CAFI Head Start Health Fair | |
CAFI Head Start will be hosting a Health Fair on April 22nd from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Carrollton! This event is free and open to the community. There will be health education information and preventative screenings available, as well as giveaways, food, and fun for the whole family!
We will also be accepting applications for our Head Start and Early Head Start programs at the Health Fair!

UGA Extension in Carroll, Haralson, and Paulding Counties are hosting the Journeyman Farmer program that provides comprehensive training for beginning farmers!
The three-step training program will be held at the Carroll County AG Center, 900 Newnan Road, Carrollton, GA 30117. The cost for this program is $80.00. To sign up, scan the QR code on the flyer and follow the directions to register and pay.

Miles for Mental Health 5K and Fun Run

The Miles for Mental Health 5k and Fun Run is hosted by Carroll County Mental Health Advocates to provide education and awareness on mental health and addiction. This is done by inviting the Carroll County Community to join us in running (or walking) in both our 5k and our Fun Run. This event is perfect for all ages as it's never too early to break the stigma surrounding mental illness and substance use disorders.
A free Fun Run will be held before the 5k starts for anyone who wants to participate.
Proceeds from this event will aid CMHA in assisting members of the Carroll County Community who are stuggling with their mental health as well as substance use disorders.

Beyond the Garden Gate, Hidden Gems of Coweta Garden Tour
