We are thrilled to announce a new Seniors Program coming this May:


Welcome to CAG's Seniors Social !


Day/Time: Fridays, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Location: Brantwood Park Fieldhouse

Pricing: Free! (suggested donation of $5.00)

Save the Date: CAG's Soccer in the Park

CAG's 2025 Soccer in the Park Program will run Saturday mornings from May 10 to June 28, in Brantwood Park!


We aim to provide your child with a fun and positive early soccer experience that fosters the joy of playing for many years to come!

Pilates - Classic Mat Work


Day/Time: Mondays, 5:30pm - 6:15pm

Dates: March 31st - June 23rd, 2025 (11 Weeks*)

Price: $121.00 + GST


*Please Note: There is no class on April 21st and on May 19th


This class is for everybody - a class that either introduces you to Pilates or takes you further into your understanding of your own Pilates practice.

The first few classes will cover the fundamentals and highlight safety modifications for those with sore backs, necks or shoulders.


As the course continues, the more experienced clients will work on deepening their technique while the beginners continue to improve on their basic moves. No matter what your level you'll experience a better workout and receive personal corrections to keep you moving towards your own perfectly developed balanced body.

Spring Session Starts Tonight!


Spring Dates: Every other Tuesday, beginning April 1st (except for April 29)

Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Location: Old Town Hall

Pricing: FREE (suggested donation of $5.00)


Bring your tools and projects and join us twice a month for an evening where adult sewists, crocheters, knitters, and other textile hobbyists are welcome to work among friends and neighbours.

Events Around Old Ottawa East

Old Ottawa East Community Association (OOECA) April Meeting


The April 2025 OOECA Meeting will take place on Tuesday April 8 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The meeting will take place both in person at Old Town Hall (61 Main Street) and online via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Ottawa Internationals Soccer Club

The Ottawa Internationals Soccer Club returns to Brantwood Park this summer!


Children aged 3 to 8 years old can sign up to learn and practice their soccer skills right here in Old Ottawa East during the 2025 Summer Session (June 2 to August 24).


Active Start - U4 to U6 will run at Brantwood Park on Wednesdays from 6:00pm - 6:45pm.


FUNdamentals - U7 and U8 will run at Brantwood Park on Wednesdays 6:00pm - 6:50pm.

City of Ottawa - Planning Primer Program

The Planning, Development and Building Services Department offers Planning Primer sessions to help residents become more aware of, and more involved in the land-use planning process. Courses are free to take and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.


The next Planning Primer Elective will be focused on Urban Design and will cover urban design basics in an Ottawa context and provide participants with opportunities for questions. This course will run twice over Zoom, on April 7 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and April 9 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Ottawa's Next Culture Plan

The Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services Department (RCFS) is undertaking its first city-wide cultural planning process since 2012 with the goal of developing a new municipal Culture Plan.


The public engagement launch for Ottawa's next Culture Plan starts April 1 and will be hosted in-person (April 1 in French, April 2 in English) and online (April 3, Bilingual).
