Teen Take Over BBQ

Do you need volunteer hours for high school or know a teen who does?


CAG's Teen Take Over BBQ is the perfect opportunity to collect volunteer hours and give back to the Old Ottawa East community!

Teens and tweens are both invited to sign up for this opportunity. Plus, students going into Grade 9 this fall can get a head start by collecting volunteer hours this summer.


Our teen/tween volunteers will help run the event on August 14, and can also sign up to help plan the BBQ in advance, with guidance and support from CAG staff and adult volunteers.


Volunteers who are interested in planning the BBQ will learn about the behind-the-scenes of hosting a community event. Then they'll work together to make the BBQ their own!


More details will be shared upon registration. If you are interested in helping to plan the BBQ in advance, we ask that you please sign up by Friday Aug 8 at 4:00pm.

Micro Movement Dance

Micro Movement Dance is back at Old Town Hall for a fabulous fall session. Register your little one(s) today, classes will sell out!


Dates: September 14 - December 7* (12 weeks)

Day: Sunday

Location: Old Town Hall (61 Main Street)


*Please Note: There is no class on Thanksgiving Sunday, October 12

A Company of Fools Comes to Brantwood Park!

A Company of Fools will bring The Comedy of Errors to Brantwood Park on Tuesday August 12. Bring a blanket and enjoy this Shakespeare classic with a Foolish twist that blasts this classic farce straight into the Mushroom Kingdom! Pay-what-you-can (suggested $20).

It's Movie Night at Lansdowne! The Wild Robot (PG) will be playing at 8:45pm on Thursday August 14 at South Court (Aberdeen Pavilion for inclement weather).
