Old Ottawa East Holiday Food Drive
From Dec 1, 2025 to Jan 2, 2026, CAG will be collecting donations for the Ottawa Food Bank! Join us in giving back to our community this holiday season and supporting those in need of this essential service.
Donations can be either financial or food, and your donation will enter you into CAG's prize raffle for a chance to win 1 of 3 awesome prizes! Click on the "Learn More" button to find details on how to donate starting Monday Dec 1.
Did You Know? Last year, our wonderful OOE community raised $2,141.00 and around 100 lbs of food. Join CAG in making an even bigger impact this year.

Homeschool Meet Ups
The Old Ottawa East Homeschool Meet Ups provide an opportunity for community members who are homeschooling their children, to get together to socialize, engage in activities, and play with children in the warmth and shelter of the Brantwood Park Fieldhouse.
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Fall 2025 Session: Nov 4 - Dec 16, 2025
Location: Brantwood Park Fieldhouse
Pricing: $25.00/session, $5.00 drop-in

There are limited spots available for CAG's adventure-filled PA Day Camp this Friday Nov 28 for OCDSB students! The theme will be: Winter is Coming!
Children will enjoy a fun-filled day of themed games, crafts and activities at Brantwood Park Fieldhouse.
Times: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pricing: $55.00/day
Extended Care: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
A limited number of Extended-Care spots will be available depending on the date of the PA Day Camp. Children may be with our regular After-School program where required.

Micro Movement Dance
Registration for Micro Movement Dance's Winter/Spring 2026 session is now open! Classes will sell out, so don't delay and register today. Learn more about the classes here.
Classes will run at Old Town Hall (61 Main Street) on Sundays from Jan 11 - June 7, 2026. Please note, there are no classes on March 15, April 5 and May 10.

On Friday Nov 28, the 2025 CPKC Holiday Train will make four magical stop south of Ottawa in Finch, Merrickville, Smiths Falls and Perth, Ontario.
The train aims to raise food, money and awareness for local food banks and food pantry organizations. Professional musicians play free concerts from the train's brightly decorated stage, and the performers at these four stops will be Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse. CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation.

Stop by the Latvian Church's Christmas Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday Nov 29 from 10:00am - 2:30pm! Visit 83 Main Street for baked goods, Christmas cards and decorations, jewelry, wood carvings and more. Admission is free and hot lunch, coffee and homemade desserts will also be available.

Browse wonderful holiday crafts and yummy homemade baked goods at the Abbotsford Holiday Craft Fair. The Fair will take place from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday Nov 29 at 950 Bank Street. Admission is free and proceeds go to support Abbotsford Senior Centre.

Join the Glebe Community Association for this practical morning workshop on Sunday Nov 30 from 9:00am - 11:00am at the Glebe Community Centre (Scotton Hall) at 175 Third Avenue.
