CAHEC Residents Eligible for
Post-Secondary Scholarship Funding
The CAHEC Foundation is partnering with the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) Educational Foundation again this year to offer $2,500 scholarships to residents living in CAHEC-sponsored properties. In 2021, NAHMA made a tremendous impact in the affordable housing industry, awarding $304,500 in scholarships to students throughout the country.

Visit the NAHMA Educational Foundation website for information on eligibility requirements and the online application process. To help NAHMA recognize CAHEC applicants, residents must type "CAHEC Foundation" beside the name of their apartment community on their application. Applications are due by May 12, 2022. If you'd like to advertise the scholarship to residents, please email Stefanie Lee at slee@cahec.com to request a Resident Flyer.

CAHEC Celebrates 30 Years
We wanted to take a minute to showcase our 30th anniversary logo! A lot has changed in 30 years, but we're still as committed as ever to providing quality affordable housing for our residents.

Fun fact: we've invested over $16 million towards our Community Investments initiatives over the last 30 years. The first grant - a Technology Learning Center - was awarded in 1999, and helped provide a computer workstation for residents to use!
