2022 CAHIP Capitol Summit in Sacramento, CA
CAHIP’s Capitol Summit 2022 may now be in our rearview mirror, but the two-and-a-half-day event will remain with us for weeks and months to come.

The annual conference was the first in-person statewide event since early 2020. It included meetings with our elected legislators and their staffs, an opportunity to network with friends, business associates and vendors, and, most importantly, reminded us of the value of the industry-wide cooperation and overall camaraderie that our association brings to our members.

A special thanks to our guest speakers Troy Underwood, Jessica Altman, Justin Wallin and Marshall Allen and our panelists Marcy Buckner, Eugene Sparks, David Smith and Stephanie Berger.

CAHIP would like to thank everyone who attended our Capitol Summit 2022 and our sponsors who helped make this event a huge success. We look forward to seeing you all in person throughout 2022!
Legislative Spotlight
Professional health insurance agents help individual Californians, families, businesses and their employees with the insurance landscape. CAHIP’s Dawn McFarland, VP of Legislation, and Faith Borges, Legislative Advocate, shared insight about the roles and responsibilities of an agent.

As agents it’s our responsibility to provide trusted and reliable counsel, serve as consumer advocates, solve problems, help businesses and guide clients.

CAHIP Tool Kit
The CAHIP Tool Kit is now available! It contains social media posts, graphics and website copy that you can use on your own channels to share about the 2022 CAHIP rebrand. We also have included links from the Capitol Summit which features the single payer poll, and the roles and responsibilities of an agent.
