Make Your Voice Heard at CAIR-CA's 2nd Annual Capitol Day


The second annual California Muslim Day at the Capitol will take place on Tuesday, April 30th in Sacramento. Community members from across California will have an opportunity to meet state legislators to discuss issues pertaining to education, immigration, healthcare, and civil rights and help effect positive social change.

Eyes Wide Open is an exhibit of empty boots bearing the names of California military killed in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and unnamed shoes representing civilian casualties young and old. You are invited to a time for reflection on the true cost of war, the lost opportunities for making peace, the sacrifices of those who fought, the devastation wrought on the people and land of Iraq and Afghanistan, and our eternal hope for an end to war.
