CAIR-Chicago Sues Apple, Can You Pass The NEW Citizenship Test?, & Resources to Find Your Local Rapid Response Group

CAIR-Chicago Sues Apple for Anti-Palestinian Workplace Discrimination

Can You Pass the New Citizenship Test?

Can you pass the new citizenship test? Monday morning people called in to WBEZ to hear some of the questions from Trump’s new citizenship test and see for themselves if they had the answers. Our staff attorney Shana Nissan was there to provide a breakdown of some of the changes to this new test. The new test if more difficult, still includes civics questions, but is now twice as long and covers a broader range of topics.

NU Lawsuit Updates

In a class-action lawsuit CAIR-Chicago filed alongside partners on behalf of students alleging that Northwestern’s mandatory bias training discriminates against Palestinian students, supporters, and associates.

At an emergency hearing Monday Oct. 20, the court declined to issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) that would have paused potential University action against affected students.

Stay tuned for updates as the next court hearing is scheduled for November 24, 2025.

CUFC & Partners Hold Rally in Little Village Following Vicious ICE Attacks

Cancel John Kirby's UChicago Appointment

Hyde Park Herald: John Kirby tapped to head IOP

"His appointment has already drawn mixed reaction in Chicago. The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Chicago chapter has publicly urged the U. of C. to rescind the decision, calling Kirby Biden’s “Genocide Denier-in-Chief” and accusing him of excusing Israeli military actions in Gaza, which Palestinian authorities say have killed more than 68,000 people since Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel that killed about 1,200 people. The campus group Students for Justice in Palestine published an op-ed in the Maroon last week, arguing that the appointment contradicts the university’s stated commitments to neutrality and free expression."
