Research and Training Spotlight:

FHWA Pavement Management Roadmap

In September, the FHWA released its Pavement Management Roadmap, which identifies the steps needed to address current gaps in pavement management and to establish research initiatives and priorities in four key areas: Pavement Management Data, Analysis tools, Workforce and Organizational issues, and Technology Advancements. The Roadmap is an update of a 2010 report and documents the changes in the state of pavement management since that time.

The Roadmap, and similar reports, help CALTAP identify our own training priorities. If you have thoughts on priorities from the list, or what's missing from it, let us know.

We will feature responses in upcoming news and social media.
