Coronavirus and the Construction
Industry: Stay Informed
|
|
During the COVID19 pandemic and the requirements outlined in Michigan’s Stay Home order, CAM has implemented technology and virtual tools to continue to increase the efficiency of the association. As a result, we announce the following:
- Effective June 1, 2020, CAM will cancel the lease agreement for the office located at 334 Water Street in Saginaw. Current Saginaw staff will be permanently transitioned to a work-from-home role. As always, blueprint reproduction is available from our Bloomfield Hills office and can be shipped via UPS. In addition, through our agreement with Staples, members are eligible for significant savings on print services. Contact Lisa Walsh at 888-224-3784 ext. 2026539 for more information about setting up your Staples account.
- Membership payments can be sent to 43636 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302 or paid online with a credit card. Heather Carrier, Saginaw Planroom Manager, may be contacted at (248) 972-1142 or via email.
- CAM has overhauled its operations, technology infrastructure, and personnel to improve its Virtual Planroom/Project News platform; our member portal has been transitioned to a mobile-responsive site; and development on a Construction Buyers Guide mobile app is well underway.
The entire CAM team remains committed to servicing our 2,000 member companies and we are always available to provide information, resources, discounted programs, and more. We’re looking forward to implementing and adopting new technology in a continuing effort to bring you the best membership experience.
As Michigan’s construction industry returns to work, we encourage you to take advantage of the
free resources
available on our website. Our COVID-19 Resource page has been updated to include a sample safety plan, Toolbox Talks, checklists, free screening tools, and suppliers of floor decals, acrylic partitions, and signage regarding handwashing and social distancing.
