CAM members and their guests are invited to join us on Tuesday, July 25th for another great CAM Connect event down in the D! The party kicks off at 4:00 p.m. with pre-game food, drinks, and networking on the second floor of the Firebird Tavern. First pitch over at the park is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. Only $70 per person for game ticket and party! Tickets are limited - RSVP early. 2023 Trench Safety Stand Down Takes Place June 19th-23rd
|
|
The 2023 Trench Safety Stand Down is scheduled for the week of June 19th-23rd. The National Underground Contractors Association and OSHA have teamed up to bring awareness to this serious safety concern. These Stand Downs will focus on trench and excavation hazards and reinforce the importance of using trench protective systems and protecting workers from trenching hazards. MIOSHA welcomes the opportunity to talk with employers and employees about the hazards of trenching and excavation work. Michigan Wins Award for EV Battery Projects
|
|
Area Development, the leading publication covering site selection and facility planning, has recognized the state of Michigan with a Silver Shovel as part of its Annual Shovel Awards. In a year dominated by electric vehicle (EV), battery, and semiconductor projects, Michigan is among 21 states recognized in the Annual Shovel Awards, which are presented each year to the states that have achieved the most success in terms of new job creation and company capital investment.
