Enjoy various styles of music at venues including Christmas Park, art galleries, restaurants, and a brewery. Saturday will also feature the First Saturday Events and Pooch Parade. Bring a lawn chair for outdoor shows. The event is free thanks to our sponsors and venue sponsors.

The Canal Street Historic District Association is pleased to present our fifth annual Pooch Parade. This fun, family-friendly event will begin at 11am in Christmas Park and our furry friends will make their way to the Crimson House where prizes will be awarded. Stay and enjoy the First Saturday Events and Downtown Music Festival for a perfect Saturday in Downtown New Smyrna Beach.

ART STROLL & GALLERY WALK

The Canal Street area is the place to be on 1st Saturdays. Start your morning at the Farmer's Market in the park. After you've picked up what you need for dinner, join us on Canal for the Art and Artisan Stroll.

ART STROLL: First Saturday in Downtown NSB! Take a stroll and enjoy Art, Antiques, and MORE!! RhythmWorks Band will pace your stroll, performing outside The Hub between 11am and 1pm.

GALLERY WALK: If art is your thing, you won't want to miss Gallery Walk between 4pm and 7pm. Our galleries offer something for everyone.

March 5, 2022 - Sample craft beers and unique wines as you stroll through the Canal Street Historic District from 1-6pm.

TICKET PURCHASES
Tickets are $25 – Includes: A Canal Street souvenir glass and 12 sampling tickets can be redeemed at 12 locations in the district. A self-guided map is provided. The walk is held on the first Saturday of each month. Purchase your tickets online (link below) up until 1pm on the day of the event. You'll register and pick up your tickets at the locations below starting at 1pm. You may also make in-person purchases starting at that time.

Canal Street Classic Cruise Car Show

Every month on the second Saturday. Open to all, there's a DJ and plenty of shops open for food and drinks. Cruisers usually start arriving around 3:00 pm. At 4:00 pm the streets are blocked off to through traffic and the show begins. Expect to see anywhere from 200 to over 500 of the finest custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles you'll find in Florida. CANAL STREET NIGHTS - Join us on the third Thursday of every month (except July-September) for a fun-filled evening. We will have expanded streetside dining, vendors, special hours for businesses, kid’s zone, and specialty food vendors.
