Due to the rapidly escalating coronavirus concern, the
Onondaga County Medical Society is canceling the Legislative Forum on March 21
in order to mitigate any potential risk to members and legislators. We value our leadership role in the community and want to serve as an example as to how we all should take measures now to “flatten the curve” by limiting public gatherings and by practicing social distancing. We are planning to reschedule the Forum for early this fall. We hope that you will attend this important event at that time.
Rest assured, we will still be in ongoing dialogue with our legislators around the policies and resources physicians need to practice quality medicine. Now more than ever, it is essential that the voices of doctors are central in regulatory, planning, and law-making conversations. We hope that you will continue to provide the Onondaga County Medical Society with your feedback on the various challenges that you may face in your practice and for your patients. We will continue to provide you updates on the many ways to be involved in advocacy.
In particular, at this time
, please reach out
