Volunteers Needed

Thank you for showing interest in being a volunteer for the Community Action of Napa Valley (CANV) in the past by filling out our volunteer form on our website. From time to time we are looking for volunteers for special events or programs in the community to help those in need or where proceeds may benefit CANV and the programs CANV supports.

The 31st Annual Hands Across the Valley Fundraising Event will be held Saturday, September 16 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Hands Across The Valley is the only organization that raises money specifically for the safety net food programs in Napa County – including The Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, and other vital programs that serve those in need from American Canyon to Calistoga

We are looking for volunteers to assist with one of three shifts:

Shift 1 - 2:30 - 6:00 PM

Shift 2 - 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Shift 3 - 5:00 - 9:00 PM

Did you know that nearly all of the Food Bank funding comes from donations? All of CANV’s programs & services depend on donations from individuals, corporations & foundations. Every dollar makes a difference.

Can you drive a truck? Deliver meals to people’s home? Help someone shop at the Food Pantry? Share a talent like music or art with a homeless person? Or do you have a professional service you can share? We need you!

Whether you are interested in doing a fundraiser, donating a vehicle, hosting a food drive, or looking to establish a corporate partnership with CANV there are so many ways to make an impact in our community.
