The Importance of "Time-Ins"

For more information on Time-Ins, visit the Institute of Child Psychology.

"One of the most well-known examples of positive parenting is time-in! It's all about being caring, while also teaching and communicating with your child to meet their emotional needs. Time-ins are a great alternative to time-outs because they focus on connecting with your child in a loving way. Instead of isolating them, you sit with them after a mistake and help them calm down and feel better. It's a great way to bond and support your child through challenging moments."
