:: Here's to a New Year

Filled with Hope

As we step into a new year, we’re inspired by the hope that fuels everything we do. Each day, we see families taking brave steps toward healing, children discovering new coping skills, and adults finding steady ground after seasons of uncertainty. Your support makes that possible.

In 2026, we’re looking forward with optimism and determination. There is so much we can achieve together: strengthening mental health, supporting families through difficult experiences, and continuing to build a community where everyone is cared for. Thank you for being part of a mission that brings light, resilience, and opportunity to countless lives.

:: Program Highlight

Counseling That Meets People Where They Are

Therapy is a powerful resource for people of all ages. Our counseling programs provide free therapy for children, adults, and families, offering a safe space to process trauma, build coping skills, and grow in confidence and connection.

Accessibility matters. That’s why we meet clients where they are—literally. We provide therapy in person at our offices, in local schools to reduce transportation and scheduling barriers, and virtually for those who need or prefer remote support. No matter the setting, our therapists work in partnership with clients, honoring their strengths and helping them take steps toward healing and stability.

:: Back in the Swing of Things

Resetting after the Holidays

The transition from holiday schedules back to everyday routines can be a challenge. Give yourself and your family permission to ease into the new year at a sustainable pace. Re-establishing consistent sleep, meal, and homework rhythms can help everyone feel more grounded, and it’s okay to take it one small step at a time.

4-7-8 Breath Reset

This simple breathing exercise helps calm the body, slow racing thoughts, and bring attention back to the present moment. It’s great for everyone and can be done anywhere.

  1. Breathe in quietly through your nose for four seconds
  2. Hold your breath for seven seconds
  3. Exhale slowly through your mouth for eight seconds

Repeat this cycle three to four times. It’s especially helpful during transitions, like getting ready for school or unwinding before bed, and can be a gentle way for families to ease back into familiar routines after the holidays.

Become a Mission Partner

Community partnerships sustain the heart of our work. We invite local businesses and organizations to join us as year-round mission partners, through monetary sponsorships or in-kind support such as printing, publicity, supplies, or event services.

Individuals can make an equally powerful impact by becoming monthly donors. Reliable, recurring gifts allow us to plan ahead, reduce waitlists, expand programs, and reach even more families in our community. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier future for all.
