At CAPACares, we believe in building the future of compassionate care. Twice each year, we welcome interns from social work, counseling, and marriage and family therapy programs. These students gain hands-on experience with clients while receiving guidance from our staff and dedicated intern supervisors.
Interns take part in weekly supervision and bi-monthly trainings on topics like play therapy, suicide prevention, and domestic violence—giving them the skills and confidence to succeed as future professionals. Their contributions are essential to our mission, and their passion inspires us every day.
Here’s what some of our interns have shared:
-
“The hands-on opportunities and support I’ve received have been instrumental to my career.”
-
“I love being at CAPACares. The support we receive fuels my passion to become the best therapist possible.”
- “CAPACares has provided a place to learn and grow with incredibly supportive staff.”
We’re proud to invest in the next generation of helpers and healers, and grateful for the impact our interns are already making in the lives of children and families.
