Cross Country Set to Go the Distance in 2022
Cross country is continuing their rebuild in 2022 and has their sights set on a full year of competition to move them in the right direction. Head Coach BT Pham, and newly appointed Associate Head Coach Breanna Clayton are primed to get the team onto their progression-focused training plan and hope for quality improvements in various areas this season. New Leadership Looking to Spearhead Volleyball in 2022
For the second consecutive year, the volleyball program will be under the direction of a new head coach, this time with Rosanna Sguerra at the helm. Last season, Capital volleyball made a turn for the better, improving upon a 2020-21 record of 1-18 to finish 7-15 in the more-normal 2021 season. Heading into 2022, the program will have to continue that positive momentum under Sguerra's outlook for the team.

Men’s Soccer Setting Sights on More in 2022
The 2022 men's soccer team will be without a few key players lost to graduation a year ago, but at the same time, will be adding numerous incoming players keen to make a mark on the team and help push them deeper into the playoffs this season. Head coach Alan Yost, who returns for his 11th season at the helm of the program, will be joined on the sidelines by 2021 Academic All-American and three-time All-OAC selection Mitchell Hughes. Hughes – a two-time team captain – will look to use his leadership amongst the team to help steer the ship in the right direction.

|
Women’s Soccer Ready for Another Go at the OAC
The 2022 season will be another opportunity for the Capital University women's soccer program to get over the hill in their quest for an OAC Championship. Since 2015, Capital has finished the OAC in the top-four, but has ultimately come up short each year. In fact, the past two seasons have had pretty similar conclusions – an OAC Tournament semifinal loss on the road at Ohio Northern University. With that in mind, Coach Matt Ogden hopes his team is ready to get over the bump this season. The team will be focused on entering OAC play with more momentum than they did a year ago.
