NOW MUSIC Festival 2022
The 2022 NOW MUSIC Festival will feature Omar Thomas, a young composer who has been a strong new voice in the world of band and jazz music. His residency at Capital, Feb. 15-19, will include a keynote address, a series of concerts of the band, jazz, chamber, and solo repertoire, performed by the faculty, students, and other local musicians and ensembles, and a masterclass with students-composers.

The Festival's concerts also will include music by Capital faculty and other local composers, Capital’s student-composers, and a multimedia event featuring a recently rediscovered sketchbook by renowned 20th-century artist Wassily Kandinsky on display at The Schumacher Gallery. This visual experience will be further enhanced by Capital students’ electronic music and poetry, all inspired by Kandinsky’s works on display.

Webinar Reminder - SAVI - New Employee Benefit

The path to reducing your and/or your dependent’s monthly student loan payment and working toward loan forgiveness could be getting much easier. That's because you now have access to a robust solution that helps find the best federal repayment and forgiveness programs for your financial situation.

Brought to you through TIAA and Savi, this tool not only helps strengthen your financial footing in the short term, but it also positions you and your dependents for student loan forgiveness.

  • Caps your payment based on your income and family size
  • Frees up funds to direct towards other financial goals
  • Removes the complexities of forgiveness and puts the process on autopilot for a small fee

We're so excited to bring this opportunity to Capital University employees and their family members. To see how easy it is to use Savi, how it works to reduce your monthly payment, and how to get started, sign up for a free, 30-minute webinar on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m.
