Fuel & Electric Assistance
Need help paying for your heat or electric bill this winter? CAPSC can help!
The Fuel Assistance Program (FAP) is a federally funded program that provides qualified households with assistance in paying their heating bills during the winter heating season. FAP can also help households during a heating emergency by securing an emergency delivery of fuel, delaying a shut-off notice, or referring clients to another source of assistance. Fuel Assistance benefits range depending on household income and energy costs.
Fuel season starts November 1st and ends on April 30th.
Applications for fuel and electric assistance are currently available. You can print out your application and mail it in or request that an application be mailed to you. We are also taking application appointments over the phone, or doing interviews in person.

Thank you Dover High School, Spaulding High School,
and our entire community!
As summer winds down and our Summer Meals Program comes to an end, all of us at CAPSC would like to say thank you to all of the towns, volunteers and community members that helped make this program a success again this year.
Without the use of the Dover High School and Spaulding High School cafeterias we would not have been able to prepare and serve the thousands of meals (for FREE) in 29 locations in Strafford County to children ages 0-18.
This was truly a community effort, and we are so grateful to have been a part of making sure that so many children were able to receive the healthy breakfast and lunch they needed to grow and thrive this summer!
