Young Women in Trades and Technologies Camps

Various Locations

CAREERS is proud to host the Young Women in Trades and Technologies events throughout the province. These day camps aim to inspire and empower young women in skilled trades and technologies. Local businesses and organizations will provide engaging hands-on activities, helping participants explore exciting internships opportunities for the upcoming summer. Attending students can expect to hear about summer positions with participating employers and will get first priority in being matched with these companies.

SafeGen Update

HCS3010

HCS3010 has been re-developed and is now available on the SafeGen LMS. The course is more user-friendly, more engaging, and up to date with current legislation.

 

Some key features include:

 

  • Easier navigation
  • Interactive activities
  • Record of unit quiz grades
  • Optional end-of-course career exploration activity

 

The new version of the course is called HCS3010 01.25 (NEW). The old version, called HCS3010 06.21 will remain available until February 28, 2025 for anyone currently in progress. After that point, the old version will be archived, and only the new course will be available for completion.
