Program Launched to Help Mancos Businesses and Nonprofits Impacted by COVID-19
The Town of Mancos aims to grant up to $90,000 of the CARES Act funds it will receive to local businesses and nonprofits who have been impacted by COVID-19. In-town organizations may apply for up to $5,000.
"...In Mancos, Opera Lafayette, a professional opera company based in Washington, D.C., will debut its version of “The Blacksmith Opera” at the Reddert Ranch, across from the historic Menefee Barn and Blacksmith Shop on Echo Basin Road, in October."
National Small Business Week is an annual event celebrating the best of small businesses across America. It recognizes small business advocates for their involvement in disaster recovery, government contracting, and their support for small businesses and entrepreneurship.
"Districts will be able to use the money to purchase hot-spots for families who live in areas where broadband service isn’t readily available or to support more creative solutions if hot-spots don’t work in their communities. That could include bringing towers and mobile trucks into districts."
