Learn the basics of hip and knee arthroplasty in this virtual 2-part didactic and interactive course for junior residents. Led by experts in lower extremity arthroplasty from across Canada, each module covers a wide range of fundamental topics and includes case-based breakout discussions. Open to all residents in Canadian orthopaedic training programs, but best suited for PGY 1-3 residents. Free registration includes access to both Part I (Knee) and Part II (Hip) virtual modules.
Topics Include:
Biomechanics and Templating, Surgical approaches, Surgical steps of a TKR and THR, Fixation, Case discussion breakout sessions etc.
