Advocacy for CSEC Involved Youth

This share and support will focus on youth that are CSEC involved. Participants will discuss rewards and challenges, and share other tips and encouragement. In addition, CASA/LA's CSEC committee will be present to provide feedback and support. To RSVP email csec@casala.org by Wednesday, April 7.

Online Sex Ed Pilot Program for Youth
The Los Angeles Reproductive Health Equity Project for Foster Youth (LA RHEP) is testing and receiving feedback on effective strategies for delivering online sexual health education to youth in foster care. Youth will have an opportunity to share their thoughts & ideas on how to improve the delivery of online education. Youth are considered eligible if they are living in LA County foster care and are between the ages of 14-17. Youth must have access to headphones and a personal device that connects to Zoom. 11 classes take place between April 5 and May 13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Camp Bob Waldorf is Accepting Applications
During the summer of 2021, Camp Bob Waldorf will operate a day camp program for campers currently attending 3-11 grades that fosters growth and development in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Camp Bob Waldorf serves low-income families with the goal of providing campers with enriching activities during the summer.
