INTRODUCING CASA PROGRAM'S
NEW PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR:
VICKIE WILSON
While many of you may already know me, I want to take a moment to share how honored I am to step into this role of Program Administrator and continue supporting the vital work being done on behalf of children in foster care.
For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of serving within the CASA Program, and throughout my career I have remained deeply committed to improving outcomes for children and families involved in the foster care system. I bring more than 26 years of experience working in Nevada to support and advocate for vulnerable children. In previous roles, I served as a Volunteer Manager with the American Red Cross for the Utah/Nevada region and worked in various units with Clark County Family Services, including Foster Care Licensing, Child-Specific Recruitment, and Permanency.
I am also a proud two-time graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Earlier this year, I was honored to receive a proclamation from the Clark County Commission recognizing my leadership and contributions to an annual holiday event serving children in foster care. I have also been humbled to be nominated for the Stars of Nevada – Governor’s Points of Light Awards in the category of Outstanding Volunteer Manager.
As I begin this new chapter, I look forward to strengthening partnerships across our community and within the CASA program. I am especially grateful for our dedicated CASA volunteers whose compassion and advocacy make a lasting difference in the lives of children every day. I also want to recognize the dedicated staff who work behind the scenes to support and equip our volunteers in this important work. I look forward to continuing our shared commitment to supporting children and strengthening families together.
