A message from the new Champions for CASA Executive Director:
I am very excited to be the newly appointed Executive Director of Champions for CASA! Champions for CASA is passionate about supporting the mission and the volunteers of the Eighth Judicial District Court CASA Program. We are so appreciative of the dedicated individuals who are committed to improving the lives of children in foster care. Champions for CASA are working hard to help recruit and retain CASA volunteers, who are everyday citizens, with passion and a strong desire to help change the lives of abused and neglected children Clark County’s foster care system. The goal of Champions for CASA is to ensure every child in the foster care system have a CASA volunteer to advocate for their best interest.
How can YOU help Champions for CASA?
We need help recruiting more CASA volunteers! If you know of someone that would be a great advocate, please tell them how they can get involved to support CASA’s mission. If you know of or belong to a group or organization that would love to hear about the importance and need for CASA volunteers-please let Champions for CASA know! We are happy to present to groups who might have individuals interested in becoming CASA volunteers or can help us recruit more volunteers.
Additionally, spring is upon us with many community-oriented event opportunities. If you are aware of an upcoming event, please feel free to reach out to me directly so that we at Champions for CASA might have a presence and help to spread the word about the important work we do.
When choosing charitable giving options-please consider designating Champions for CASA. This can be done through Smiths, MS Rewards or nationwide call to actions such as Giving Tuesday. Donations can also be made directly through our website at www.championsforcasa.org
Please make sure that you like, subscribe and follow us on social media: Facebook and Instagram at championsforcasa. Encourage your friends and family to do so as well.
