The CASA Program is very pleased to announce that Eduardo Alvarez joined our staff as a Volunteer Coordinator effective September 14, 2021.

Eduardo will be supervising CASA volunteers and helping recruit volunteers so that our Program continues to grow.

Eduardo was previously employed with the Department of Family Services as a Foster Care Recruiter and Trainer for eight years. Prior to that, he worked for the State of Nevada Welfare Division. Eduardo enjoys spending time with his family including traveling and camping and other outdoor activities. He is a sports fan and supports our local teams including the Golden Knights, Raiders, UNLV football & basketball and the Vegas Lights.

Are you interested in becoming a CASA volunteer? Maybe you know someone who would be a terrific child advocate. Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers are assigned by the Judge to advocate for the best interest of a child in foster care. Free informational meetings are scheduled (virtually) four times every month.
