CASA OF WESTMORELAND, INC.
Leah Marsolo, Advocate Supervisor!

Rising from the family court system as a youth, Leah Marsolo built a passion for working to advocate for children’s rights and disability awareness. Intrigued with family court laws, Leah entered into Bradford School of Pittsburgh for paralegal studies to begin a journey for child advocacy.  Leah Marsolo has worked diligently in social work in Westmoreland County for the last 20 years.  Leah has worked through the Family Court system, Westmoreland County Children’s Bureau and as a Family Therapist.
After graduating with an Associate of Specialized Business in paralegal studies from Bradford School, Leah went on to complete a Bachelor of Science of Criminal Justice from Point Park University. She is currently studying Psychology in a Master of Arts program at Ashford University.  Leah has a Structural Family Therapy certification through the state of Pennsylvania, is trained in Truancy Diversion and Nurturing Parenting programs.  Leah is the founder of ProjectWarrior, an advocacy program responding to domestic violence.

Today, Leah is an ambitious mother of 3, advocating for children with special needs. She enjoys spending time with animals and outdoors in the sunshine with her family.  Leah has a strong interest in modem-day art and lives everyday to learn.

“Success is no accident. It’s hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice
and most of all, love what you are doing.” - Pele

WELCOME
Lauren Adamson, Administrative Assistant
Goodluck Kelly!
Kelly Jellison’s last day with CASA was in Januray and while we wish her great fulfillment in her next career step in becoming a paralegal serving the Children’s Bureau, we will miss her deeply.  She has served as an exceptional CASA Advocate Supervisor over the past three years, and so many Advocates have benefitted by her wise and caring partnership.  We take comfort in knowing she will still be devoting her talents to our child welfare system and we will all still be beneficiaries of Kelly’s input, intelligence, and aptitude in helping to ensure that abused/neglected children and their families receive all the help they need.  This is a great outcome for our county that we still retain Kelly in this important work we do together.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
CASA is looking for more Volunteers like you! If you know of anyone who could help 'Change A Child's Story' please share our training information or let us know how to contact them.

Help us serve more children in 2021!

CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations to the 31st graduating class of CASA of Westmoreland, Inc!
