CASC China Partners to Attend 2023 Summer Camp

CASC's partner organization based in Beijing will send delegates to the 2023 Summer camp at UCSB. This will be the first time they have been able to attend since 2019 due to travel restrictions. The organization conducts trainings based on CASC curriculum in Beijing high schools.

REPRESENTING STUDENT VOICES TO THE ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS

On March 11th, CASC had the opportunity to participate in a panel hosted by ACSA! Pictured from left to right is Ellie Lian (2022-2023 State President), Ava Gebhart (2022-2023 Education Policy Director), and Esther Kim (2022-2023 Governmental Affairs and Policy Director), and Dr. Shawn Tennenbaum (Superintendent of San Benito High School District) who moderated the panel!

SB857: Youth Voting Eligibility Expansion

CASC is currently sponsoring SB857 with GenerationUP. SB857 would lower the voting age in California to 17, bringing younger voters into the electoral process, expanding democracy and increase engagement among younger Californians.

Contact Governmental Affairs and Policy Director Travis Hodges for further inquiries about CASC's legislative efforts.

ALUMNI VIDEOS ARE NEEDED!

CASC alumni,

We need your help! If you love CASC and have 30 minutes to give, read on.

CASC partnered with StoryGive to record story videos featuring you, our beloved alumni! Our donors ask us, “What impact is my money making?” The best answer? A video snippet of our alums sharing their story and what CASC means to them. Your story will help us bring in more donations so we can support more members for CASC. Will you give us the gift of your story?
