Ce webinaire est offert en anglais seulement.
Date: Wednesday, May 8, 2024
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EDT
Positive student-instructor relationships are key for student engagement, motivation, and achievement. COVID-19, individual lifestyle changes, economic constraints, and advanced technologies have enabled students to learn at home, and increased class sizes have placed significant pressures on these relationships. This webinar and panel presentation explores the challenges and opportunities of the student-instructor relationship in the context of nursing leadership education and various learning modalities. The focus will be on learning more about who the current leadership student is, and the pressures student nurses face to strengthen the student-instructor relationship to enhance student engagement in the classroom. In addition, the nurse manager perspective will highlight the transition experiences of graduate nurses and workforce integration. Panel speakers will be faculty/instructors, nurse manager and undergraduate students.
