Nurses make up nearly half of all health care professionals in Canada and play a major role as leaders in reducing overuse of unnecessary tests and treatments. Learn about the role of nursing professionals in quality improvement, education, and advocacy efforts to reduce overuse in practice.
Speakers: Holly Rector, Nurse Practitioner, Women's College Hospital and Katherine Trip, Nurse Practitioner, Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto
Learning Objectives:
· Describe potential strategies for building nursing leadership in implementing Choosing Wisely Canada
