Greetings CASP,


Happy April! We hope you had a restful spring break and were able to recharge for the Spring Quarter! The CASP team will be hosting our annual induction celebrations to welcome our newly admitted class of CASP scholars and their families. We will also be hosting our annual graduation celebration for our graduating class of 2024! Make sure to keep an eye out for all events we have this spring!


In this newsletter, you'll find information regarding CASP events, UCSD opportunities, and resources available around the corner so make sure to read for more details!


Our physical office space is open for students! Come by and say hello to our new office located on the 3rd floor of Center Hall (through Door E & F). We have free printing, a dry kitchen, and a study space open Mon - Fri from 9 am - 5 pm.

César E. Chávez Celebration Kickoff and Scholarship Awards

Throughout April, UC San Diego presents a monthlong celebration in honor of the life and achievements of Mexican American labor leader and civil rights activist César E. Chávez. The festivities commence with the César E. Chávez Celebration Kickoff and Scholarship Awards on April 4, featuring live performances and a keynote address from UC Regent John A. Pérez.
